Last semester Salybia held its first trial of the intubation instruction clinic. With help from Dr. Peterson and the ICM department faculty, Salybia signed up and in-structed 60 members. The ICM faculty generously donated their time to teach the Salybia members. The participants were able to learn valuable emergency medicine skills, including providing mechanical ventilation, as well as the placement of breathing aids, such as endotracheal tubes and nasopharyngeal airways.

Because of the success of the intubation clinic, Salybia is planning to continue the intubation instruction clinics in the coming semesters.
