About SMP

The Salybia Mission Project (SMP) is the creation of medical students of Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica to bring into service their talents, interests, and experience, and to enhance their clinical experience in order to improve their skills as medical practitioners.

SMP is an independent, non-sectarian, non-profit health service and education outreach to assist in serving the health care needs of the people of Dominica. Recognizing that the indigenous Carib people of Dominica have urgent and persistent health care needs, the primary focus of SMP is on the needs of the people in the Carib Territory of Dominica.
